Master Scene Writing and Revision!
This class will focus specifically on crafting masterful dialogue, which is the most difficult but crucial element to master in fiction!
In this 6-week master class, you'll gain expert technique in scene writing and revision. For six weeks, you'll meet on Zoom weekly and share scenes and critique those of the other writers in your group. Scenes will be analyzed and critiqued for solid structure, build to a high moment, character revelation and change, effective multilayered dialogue, sensory detail, rich setting description, microtension, and so much more!
Students will be given tools to help spot the weak areas in their own scenes and learn exactly what to do to fix them so they accomplish just what they intended. This is technique you can apply to your own scenes!
Masterful scene writing and revision is the key to a successful novel!
Normally just one two- or three-hour master class would cost this much or way more!
You'll have access to the original scenes written by each writer as well as critiqued scenes showing the suggested changes.
