Module 2: Character Motivation

We want to populate our stories with believable characters, but we need to avoid making them so ordinary that they appear flat and boring. People are complex and sometimes unpredictable. The way to create truly 3D characters is to dig into the heart of their motivation. And the best way to do this is to ask a lot of "Why?" questions.

There are three essential things you need to know about every character in your story, and this module will explain what those are.
